That does mean, however, that a HD and an L probably sound quite different. I still haven't gotten the recordings... I'll go try now and post what I can.

Ken, Bassani told me the HD exhaust was built with the X-pipe in the muffler to quiet down the exhaust. I would assume the reason for this is the crew cab.
