Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas to each and every one of you. I have enjoyed the good natured banter and ribbing, plus I have learned a lot of good ways to hop up my SCrew.

Remember the meaning of Christmas Day!!

I'm so bored right now. Its weird being home on christmas eve. Ever since i was born, we went to my grandmom's house on christmas eve. And i've got a huuuge family. I'm one of 9 kids, and my dad is one of 9 kids also. Plus all their husbands/wives and kids, it was a pretty big thing. But my grandpop died about 8 years ago (that guy was a genius! he had a PhD in physics and inorganic chemistry...he invented the lithium battery to mention one thing) and this year my grandmom is really sick. she was put in a nursing home last month, and now she can't walk, and she's mostly blind and doesn't really recoginze anybody. we don't think she'll be around much longer unfortunately. she's 87 now. So everything was cancelled for christmas eve this year, so its the 1st time in 17 years i'm home for it. Just bored out of my mind

Have a happy christmas everybody! Drive safely!

This is the first year (in my 28 years) that the whole family didn't get together. We moved away from the core relatives a few years ago and with Xmas on a Wednesday, we couldn't make it up. My parents decided to come down and they are here now. We are going up near Chicago this weekend to see the rest of the family.

Sorry to hear about your grandparents. Mine are 86 and 82 and still self sufficient. They are slipping these last few years and I don't know how much longer that will be true.

Sorry to hear about your family, Josh. Hopefully, you all can re-establish the get together next year. Getting together for the holidays is one of the best things to look forward to.

I come from a small family and most of my relatives live in Ohio and Virginia so we spend a lot of time with my wife's family (large Portugese family) who are here in Cal.
