DFW Meeting changed to Dec 11
Here we go. We will meet at 12:00 noon at the Carrollton Sonic at Keller Springs and Josey. Here are some instructions via Crazy C. Hope you don't mind I placed a couple things in there Crazy C.
Carrollton is a suburb of Dallas, north of downtown Dallas by roughly 18-22 miles +/-. If you're coming from Albuquerque, take I-40 east through Amarillo, down 287 to Highway 380 in Decatur, then east on 380 to I-35 in Denton, take I-35E toward Dallas down to Keller Springs/ Sandy Lake exit(as long as it isn't raining heavily, the intersection is open) turn left on Keller Springs till you get to Josey, and the Sonic is just south of Keller Springs on Josey.
If you're coming fron downtown Dallas, go north on I-35E to Keller Springs/Sandy Lake exit, exit and go east (right) to Josey.
If anyone needs more info, just email Mudder or Myself.

I'm with Pony...as BADLY as I want to go...there is No way "Big Red" is hitting an icy or snowy road. A fellow worker just came from Oklahoma City yesterday and it took him 16 hours to get here (Albuquerque), icy roads, 5 hour stand still before Amarillo...man not the time of year to risk it. I've heard the weather is turning near the end of the week, as well...soooooo. I'm going to have to make it the next time if weather permits. Hope ya all understand...(I'm such a baby when it comes to the truck)

I agree with yall. I for one don't want to see or hear of anyone getting into a wreak just for a rally. If the weather is no good don't feel bad because you cannot make it, just be safe. For those of you traveling from a good distance please make sure that the weather will be good enough to drive in both to and from the rally before making an attempt. We have a few days to keep an eye on the weather so stay tuned for updates.

Mumbly,
I don't mind your additions to my directions at all. I was going by sheer memory, as I haven't been in that part of town in some time. I used to work in Carrollton a few years ago (way up north on Hebron Pkw), and am glad to see I still remember some things. You just made it more specific and clear.
I'm shootin' to be at the rally...are we meeting rain or shine? I'm looking forward to meeting whoever can make it and seeing all these great trucks I keep reading about.
How 'bout this cool weather? Sure makes a difference when I sometimes get on the gas. I hope it holds for us this weekend like it did for the Central Expressway grand opening parade...close a freeway down to celebrate it finally being open. Only in Dallas!!
