Update From Realtruck.com

Well I e-mailed them today to see if there was going to be a problem with inventory and here is thier response.........

Dear Joseph
I have contact the warehouse and the evolution will be shipping first part
of next week. With a free overnight delivery. They will have lots of them in
stock so give me a call and I can get you a price.

I told him about the group buy on this forum, and that there were over 45 people.....He thought I was running it, that was the reason for the last line. I told him I already ordered it and he confirmed my order and said it should ship on Tueaday or Wednesday overnight!!!

Another dumb question. For this thing to display, I assume it has to be wired. Where do the wires run and are they out in the open? I do not see them in the pic of the product.

just plugs in to the diagnostic port under the dash. Just to the right of the steering wheel. I think!

Don't have one on hand but from what I can see you just plug into your data port run the wire up and around your A piller and plug into the unit. You should be good to go. I am sure it will have instructions. From the forums many say the install is less then 10 minutes.

so the wire is in the open and goes up the front of the dash to the pod?

Its a 10 minute install if you want it to look like crap. I would run the wire under the dash and hide the wires. I'll see if I can find a picture somewhere of what it looks like.

From what I understand that is correct. I am sure others will respond if I am giving you incorrect information.

The wire stays hidden though and shouldn't be able to be seen if it was ran correctly. Ran correctly means under the dash and pass it up through the A piller. I wired my DVD player that had to be up through the headliner in about 30 minutes. This should be a piece of cake. The only other thing is I saw an edge tuner on a Chevy and it had a sensor for the exhaust, they had to put a hole in the exhaust but I don't think these come with that extra step.

Well, considering that Tical84 has gone ahead and organized the Group Purchase through Realtruck.com despite my request not to until hearing back from me regarding the availability of the product through our sponsor, Performance Products, there is not much I can do without the risk of pissing people off other than approve it. In the future, I will be deleting threads of this nature that do the complete opposite of my request and do not comply with our posted rules. Additionally, I will not be moving this thread to the Group Purchase forum where it belongs.

I think that tical was just taking names. I believe that he was still waiting on a reply from the vendor that you mentioned.

Perhaps I cited Tical incorrectly. It certainly does appear, however, that Realtruck.com has been contacted and notified of the Group Purchase, unless I mis-read an earlier post. My apologies in advance to Tical if this was not done by him and he was indeed complying with my request.

Webmaster,
Have you heard from that vender? As you can see there is alot of people intersted in this product. If the the vender that sponsers this forum is to busy to reply than I feel I should be able to spend my money where I feel fit. I do appreciate your understanding in this matter and hope that you can come up with a price from the preffered vender. I dont believe Tical has said what vender he is or is thinking about going with. Correct me if I am wrong.
Happy Holidays

Webmaster,
I'm sure Tical is checking all options on getting the best price and is also waiting for Performance Products to give an answer... i'm sure they would like to sell 30+ units also.....if they can give a competive price to Realtrucks and any other that have give a competive price on the unit...
