What's in your truck cab?

As you spend your days on the road, what are the essential things that remain with you in the cab all the time?

BloodSugarSexMagik and Californication... Can't go anywhere without my 'Peppers. Also a trash can and a full Mechanics Tool Kit.

i don't think i could list all the junk i carry with me.. i think thats why my truck is so slow.. ;)

i'll try..

bed: folding chair in bag, ice chest (found it at a carwash the other night), bungee cords, small tool set, ice bag with rags in it, breaker bar & socket for lugs, rain suit in bag..

interior: flashlight(s), cheap towels from carwash, napkins, cd case, cell phone charger, advil/aleve/sinus pills, screwdriver(s), small book with current time slips in it, silver stuffed lizard, very small pocket umbrella, extra cd changer magazine, hands free cell phone cord, leatherman tool kit, pen(s) and pad of paper, extra fuses, various mints/candys, and a ton more stuff in the console..

i'm a packrat, i know it... :)

-Cell phone
-Duct tape
-MN Atlas (broken down into counties and city streets)
-Yellow Pages
-1 Gallon distilled water
-1 Qt Mercon V
-Camera
-Full 10 disc CD changer
-Metric wrenches and sockets (8mm-22mm)
-Flash light
-Chewing gum

Regular cab. Everything is in the glove box, console, or under/behind the seats. All I really need is the cell phone, duct tape, and a BFH (you can fix just about anything with duct tape and a hammer)

GASGUZZLER007 Aug 1, 2002 06:57 AM

Nothing. The only thing I do have is a camera in case I get into an accident or see some funny looking rice. Its great having a single cab.

For me I keep napkins/insurance/ice scrapper, and a rain poncho in the glove box.
Driverside door I have my trusty swiss army knife
Passengerside door I have a tennis ball(just in case I see a friend while driving to get there attention)
under driver's seat I've got a hand knife with a 6in blade
behind driver seat I've got a bottle of 50/50 coolant
and in between the seat cracks I store loose change:D

Raoul,

How do you keep the drug sniffing dogs from messing up the interior of your truck?

I do more traffic than trafficking but that was funny.:D

For the record, I have:

Two Maglite Flashlights, one big and one little.
Various and Sundry Bungee Cords (what is it about bungee cords and trucks)
Parking cards for the covered parking lots
Cloth bag for groceries from Trader Joes
Unleashed, a book of dog poetry (entertainment for passengers)
Tire Gauge
CD case
A plate from the kitchen (yesterday's breakfast)
Several files I am too lazy to carry back into the office

and finally, the truck-warming gifts I got from my boss when I bought the truck:

A David Allan Coe Greatest Hits CD

And

A Straw Cowboy Hat.
