We're dropping bombs now..............
and when we are done we will serve them breakfast. Go figure!
:D:D:Dennis |
WAY TO GO!
I am glad to see we are making a move & that we have Great Britain's help with this first wave of attacks. If the Taliban was scared before I would love to see what they're feelng now! :D
As for serving breakfast - let me cook it! I guarantee they'll surrender after the first bite! And,that's my normal cooking! Imagine what I could do if I TRIED to make them sick! Seriously - the only thing they'll be eating soon is sand - it's all the'll be able to find! :) |
Not just you guys ... there is 38 countries in on this attack !!! Bush called our PM (Chretian (sp???)) at 11:15 this morning !!!
We as a world fitting terrorism, we have to realize that not all of the people over there are the bad guys so we have to look after those people. And besides, it looks good that we care for the ones that are not involved by helping with food and water. Let the A$$ Kicking commence !!!!!! Have Fun & Keep on Truckin' Dean |
DIE OSAMA!!!
|
Pound them to hell!!!!!!!!!!!
|
Not all of them are the bad guys? Yeah, and they cared so much about who were the "bad guys" in NY and DC huh?
F 'em all. I hope they level the whole goddamn raghead country. On the news, they were telling us not to have hard feelings for all people that may be of Arabic decent. In the same breath, they said that Bin Laden has so many of his people over here, and for so long, that our own neighbors, co-workers, class mates, etc, could be the next to strike. I say F 'em!!!!!! Why does this bring Hiroshima and Nakasaki to mind? Hmmm....blow them to hell, then help them rebuild and replenish their country. WHY DO WE KEEP DOING THAT????!!!! I hope Bin Ladan ****** incenerates (sp?)!!!!!!!! |
Lariat4wd, I sure am glad that you aren't running things.
a) the great majority of Afghans have been terrorized by the Taliban. They have nothing, they are starving. I am glad that America has enough heart to help these unfortunate people. b) we are in the middle of an extremely complex situation. Pakistan could be destabilized by Islamic extremist elements. There is the danger of riots in many countries in the world. We are not in a position to go to war with multiple countries and/or Islamic groups. c) I find it unfortunate that you resort to racial slurs. Don't get me wrong. I'm all in favor of killing every last Taliban and terrorist we can find. I hope we figure out how to get rid of Saddam Hussein. By you are sorely misdirected if you think killing civilians will do anything. |
All I can say its about damn time we bombed them we should have started bombing them the day they done what they did over here.
|
Well, I don't belive in killing of innocent people, but truthfully it is hard for me to care about them after what happened in NY and DC.

Prudence & Justice
I detest the Taliban,Bin Laden, Saddam Hussein - all should be wiped out as quickly as possible. There is no doubt they don't deserve a chance to ever hurt anyone again.
However - the Afghans are SLAVES of the Taliban. They are persecuted daily. Did you know that in addition to all the other restrictions, a woman can be put to death for laughing, walking loudly & get this - wearing white! There is NO way that these people are responsible for the atrocities we just experienced. They are trapped by the Taliban - they can't even defend themselves, let alone hurt us! The Northern Alliance, a group that has been trying to oust the Taliban are HELPING us! They are regular Afghani's trying deseprately to regain control of Afghanistan! They WANT our help & want to assist us any way they can! How can we want to see them killed? As for taking this long to strike - we HAD to. You cannot lash out blindly - you need to strike smart. Face it - these animals didn't wake up on 9/10 & think "hey - let's hijack planes & destroy the Americans!" - they PLANNED this for YEARS! They researched & studied & they didn't hit till they were ready & boy, they got us GOOD. We HAVE to plan too! Plus, we're not in this alone - we have GLOBAL support. Even if WE could have been ready to strike the same day, imagine the formidable task of coordinating the military of several other countries! Add to that the need to have permission to use the air space & military bases of countries surrounding Afghanistan - all that takes more planning. I'm actually surprised we were able to strike this soon! I'm glad we waited since it looks like we did a bang up job with the first wave of air attacks! :D Let's hope that's just the beginning of many more successful strikes & maybe. just maybe this won't drag on, we won't lose any of the military of ANY country & we can bring these cowards to their knees quickly! Then,we go for the kill! Yes - I am not proud of it but I want all the guilty eradicated in the same heinous, horrible way they treat others! Then, I will find closure for the nearly 7,000 victims of this attack. And, I think they will too. Then they can truly rest in peace. |
Well put cowlady. You are a smart woman and I think like you, I'm surprised they were able to strike so fast as the repercussionns of striking foolishly could be far reaching. There are probably terrorist still over in the states and if we don't know where they are all now, bet they will come out of the wood work after the strikes!
Talk Later, DaveMan :D |
Well said BeastRider and Cowlady. Racism and ignorance of the facts is part of the problem. The Northern Alliance is the lesser of two evils though. They are not welcome by most Afghan citizens either but if one had to choose they would side with them. Hopefully a true leader will arise from this and a government which is supported by all will arise.
I hope we make Osama run to his mama! I am all for exterminating all terrorists and those that support them. I am also glad that we are sending relief to the citizens. Lets make them breakfast, lunch and dinner while we root out the extremist a-holes that terrorize everyone including their own nations. |
Ok, I'm not a racist by any means, I'm just pissed off. I have 4 friends that were called into the military after being inactive for nearly 8 years. They all have families and careers now. This would have never happened if they would not have committed these acts. I don't believe in killing innocent people. I'm just stressing the point that we always seem to help out the ones were just went to war with. Almost like swallowing our pride. I would hate for other countries to see the U.S. that way. I love this country, and would fight for it if need be. We have enough domestic issues over here, we don't need these narrow-minded facists trying to start "*****" on our own turf. Especially using our own equipment. Oh yeah, they're also fighting us with our own damn weapons that we sold them. HOW STUPID WAS THAT??!!
|
Weapons we sold them (or gave them) and trained them to use. This whole thing is scary. I was in the Air Force and was sent a letter to reactivate during the Gulf War. I was later told I would not be needed. I now have a family and would not want to be called to active duty again. Most inactive reserves are only available for 4 - 8 years. Some have longer commitments but that is rare. My inactive period ended in April of 94. I am now 36 and they will probably have no use for me. If I had to help, even if it is Homeland security I would.

This is a very close to the heart thread, indeed. I feel the need to respond because I can understand lariat4wd's feelings. I detest racism in any form but I do have to admit that I have slipped on a couple occasions myself in reference to Muslims. It's hard to stay objective in this situation, as we're bombarded by the media showing anti-US demonstrators in Pakistan and Afghanistan, we're constantly immersed with scenes from the WTC site and the rescue effort. To make things even worse are the demonstrators here in the US protesting against our actions in Afghanistan. Those people enrage me more than anything else, and that is why I'm commenting.
I think we're all in agreement that Bin Laden and his cronies, the Taliban and the rest of those radical Muslims are pretty much nuts. But to see small handfuls of US citizens holding signs for the evening news proclaiming "Violence isn't the answer", "Don't bomb Afghanistan", and other messages just turn my stomach. What's worse is that they put these idiots on TV to spread their message, that obviously is based on a small, narrow amount of knowledge about what is really going on. These same idiots who think that the US shouldn't bomb Afghanistan offer up very little as to what we should be doing. It's very to say what we shouldn't do since that requires the least amount of thought, coming up with real solutions is difficult and has been avoided by these individuals. I was saddened and sickened when they showed a WWII vet advancing their cause. He stated that we need to avoid violence at all costs and should focus our energy on a diplomatic solution. Their general message is clear, that we didn't give diplomacy a chance. I'm sorry, but I can't help but believe that these people live in a box. Do they think they have a full grasp on the reality of the events of September 11th? We gave the Taliban 4 weeks for diplomacy to work, to hand over Bin-Laden and the other accused, but they wanted negotiations... For the Taliban, evidence wasn't enough, they wanted something in return. What it boils down to is that pro-peace whackos wanted the US to negotiate with terrorism. Talk about not helping the cause for Muslims in the US, CNN showed a group of pro-Muslim (nothing wrong with that, really) demonstrators in Chicago (I believe) who were also protesting against the US bombing of Afghanistan. These guys should wake up and get a clue!!!! They should know that they are only going to advance the growing anti-Muslim movement here in the US, the same one that they are trying to quell. Well, I've rambled on enough, but I have said my mind... Thanks for listening. |
