New stuff from Ford racing
Ford racing released a few new parts recently, thought I would share.
First a 460 based 572 big block that make 655 hp and 710 tq, available with either front or rear sump. https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-6007-572DF the rear sump is part # M-6007-572DR Second, a production gen 3 coyote out of a mustang that makes 460 hp and 420 tq https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-6007-M50C And third, a T-56 magnum trans for mustangs to replace the weak getrag MT-82 https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-7003-M6XL |
Those prices are enough to choke a horse............................

That's just their MSRP, you can find them cheaper if you shop around.
When ford gets around to making an aluminator version of the gen 3 coyote, figure on about a 3K jump in price. The current gen 2 production engine lists for 8K and the aluminator version lists for 11 |
You can buy a GM 572 for about 2 grand less money and get a little more power. You also have available an automatic transmission that's made to go with it- no special builds required. Ford still has it's head buried in the sand when it comes to supplying after market performance engines. They have next to nothing to compete with the LS or LT engines that are pretty much sold as a complete package including the electronics. That's why most of the custom shops will use GM engines. They make the power, they're cheaper vs others, they're super simple to make work.
