Klein vs Crescent adjustable wrenches?

As title says, Klein or Crescent? I need a new set of adjustable wrenches for work. Kobalt just isn't cutting it anymore.

Anyone have much experience with the Klein adjustable wrenches?

Hmm.. close call. I've got both... Crescent is better in my opinion.

I also have Snap-on tools as well.

However, nothing beats a set of Snap-On adjustable wrenches like this one:

Most Sparkies I associated with while working owned Klein tools.

Rodbusters, too. (Pliers)

Being a Carpenter (Like Jesus was), I never had a reason to own a set of adjustable wrenches.

All we needed was- A:
A hammer

For Tough Jobs- B:
A BIGGER hammer!!

I'm probably going to go with Crescent then. I was leaning that direction before, but since you have used both, I value your opinion greatly.

Thanks!

Right, type, -BFH lol.

There was a time I had more Klein stuff then any other, - long ago, - before my first vehicle broke.

I use crescent brand the majority. Most of those are second hand. - Picked up a 2 footer last year. Works great if you can lift it. I got it hanging on the wall in garage now with a heavy lagged in hanger. It's bending

About iduno, 6 months ago, I picked up a couple deWalt wrenches (crescents) on sale because they looked cool.. I believe a 8 and a 10"', maybe a little larger. They're alright, but real tight, - no slop. With a crescent, I like a little slop. That way they don't get stuck as much.. Sucks when can't remove them from the dang nut or bolt head.

Yea, these aren't broke in yet, obviously. My old Crescent Brands are still my favorite choice. Old hammy downs..

BUT, out of the Klein tools I have, (electrical mostly), I've never owned the Klein Crescent. I imagine they're good, - I like my Klein stuff as well.

^ almost everything else in my tool bag is Klein. All of my electrical is. I do however prefer channellock brand adjustable pliers.

I bought a Craftsman 20" adjustable for working on gang panels (adjusting she-bolts), waaaaaaaay back when.

It was like $50 back then.

Now it just gets used on my tow set-up.

It is handy to have an adjustable wrench that large.

Back in my red iron days, every tool on my belt and in my bolt bag was Klein.

That 'Snap-on' wrench in post two is infact a re-branded Bahco.

That's all I use = Invented by Bahco.

Simply; Buy the 150mm knipex plierwrench and slice the handles to whatever general length you require! They will thump any senseless flimsy worm-screw movable torque out of the water even with the disabled use you'll get.

We have a tool section?

I have and currently use both brands along with channel lock branded AW's. What I've noticed is that if the adjusting screw is to tight, it's hard to adjust, but on the flip side, I have several older crescent brand 6" AW's that are so loose that they don't hold the adjustment, and if the movable jaw gets ****ed slightly it jams and won't move. Also if there is a chance that the wrench might get wet make sure it is well lubed with a water displacing lube like wd 40 or blaster, cause if they get a little rust in there it will jam up and in that situation, you're better off with a looser wrench.
