Wouldn't Mind This 80's Era Chevy.....

Kind of a neat truck with relatively low miles:

Price is pretty close to what they were selling for back then...3 speed auto with a 2.73 rear probably wasn't part of the towing package back then!! Nice truck though.

That looks like it just rolled off the line, you'd be hard pressed to find anything that nice around here. I've always liked that body style.

Too bad it has a 305 - that wasn't one of GM's better engines.

Me too.

It's a nice truck. 2WD But, that 305 cu in engine would only have about 150hp and that combined with a 2.73 rear, it would be a dog. I had an 86 SS Monte Carlo with the HO 305 with 180hp. It started pumping oil at 107k miles. Chevy stuck with computer controlled carburetors as long as they could because of the expense of going to FI and it is the worst of the worst for fuel control. The Quadrajet carbs had a habit of leaking fuel into the intake manifold while sitting and all that gas would wash the oil off the cylinders and kill the engine. I had that problem. Then I had a new GM Goodwrench 350 put in it and it was replaced twice and the last engine was junk. Not for me.
