I am happy with my 2001 Supercrew, but I thought I would receive a $500 rebate when delivered in early June. I was told by Ford and the dealer that I didn't qualify because of my address ( home zip code). This is verified by going to Ford's website and putting in different zip codes: http://www.fordvehicles.com/programs/
I can understand having higher rebates in different parts of the country; for example 4x4's are harder to sell in some areas. But why can't someone travel to another area and obtain a rebate (or a larger one)? Has anyone had the same problem, complained and then obtained the rebate?
