Smile New Remington 887 .12 Guage!

With some Christmas money I needed a Shotgun Update. Yesterday I purchased a new Remington 887! Does anybody have any experience with this gun & how do you like it? I was impressed with the Armour Lockt polymer texture for protection from the elements! Next I want a S&W M&P Sport 15 however getting your hands on one right now is next to imposible!

ive heard bolth bad and good about the 887. definately not gonna live up to the reputation of its older brother 870. ive heard they lock up while pumping from time to time, yet ive got a buddy who has shot hundreds of ducks with his and loves it. i guess it's like a batch of eggs, there are those that are good, and those that are cracked or rotten. you wont find out til you go "cook"

I haven't handled the 887 any, but IMO you can't go wrong with remington. I've heard a lot of bad talk about remington lately, but mine have been holding up great. I've got 3 remington shotguns and many of my friends have 870s and 1100s and we never have any problems. Good luck getting the S&W, prices have nearly doubled in the past 2 weeks and people are buying any they can find.

My old man always bought Browning and I really liked the look of those guns, but for some reason or another I always shot better with a Remington so I ended up getting myself an 1100 that has never given me a lick of trouble in over 20-years of ownership......
