So I deleted my Facebook about two weeks ago after having been on it for 6 years. Just found it useless and annoying. I "deactivated it" which I think most people do because it appears to be the only option.

I didn't realize you could fully delete it. I just did it with the link that site showed. Pretty crazy if you read the article. The legit hide the way to ACTUALLY delete it. Anyone know that? Just figure I'd pass that along.

 

I've always heard that once you're on FaceBook, you can never really delete it. Kinda like the hotel california song by The Eagles... check out anytime you like, but you can't never leave?

I've never had a facebook account, so I don't really know for sure.

 

I had one for a year and ended it also about 6 months or so ago. I 1st deleted all pictures I had in albums and all conversations I had as well as all links etc.....then deleted it. I have searched my name and nothing comes up now so I believe its all good.....people put way too much personal things on there......ends up biting people in the butt! Good riddance! Good for you.

I was on there awhile ago, and I too had found it too annoying and pointless. Way to many shallow people. So I deleted every conversation, pic, and groups or whatever. Very pain staking process. Good ridence fakebook. Oops I mean facebook.

 

 

It's actually very fun. tons of retarded people, so i spam the living crap out of them

I'm almost 21 years old, I don't put too much on there, especially anymore. Honestly, this forum is like my Social media in a way. Everyone has the same interest and you get to have conversations, learn something and I've even met a bunch of the various local members to me at work, meets, or purchasing items. I'm on this more anyway

 

Exactly what they want you to think. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it can be looked up, like anything you post on the web. But the account can actually removed as the link showed. The guy had to dig into the insides of the site to find it.

I laughed when I originally deactivated it. It showed 3 people that were going to "miss me"

 

and then you thought about it for a second and remembered the fact you were deleting your facebook is because no body would miss you
