Replaced a Member of Our Ford Family
 

Moms 98 Taurus lost the tranny. Been a good car to us really. Got 10 years and ~140,000 miles. So naturally when we started looking to replace it we went with Ford. Finally decided on a 2008 Mercury Sable Premier.

Nice car indeed. We have a 2006 Five Hundred SEL AWD which is the "twin" to the Mercury. We love it !! Good luck with your Moms new ride. :thumbsup:

I'd heard certain parts are expensive as they are Volvo based. That's the only thing people have to say bad about these.

Nice color on a good looking car.

We test drove one of those but it rode like a 2-door sports car, real stiff I thought.

Thanks for the heads up BLUE, I know the AWD and CVT are volvo.
