Romney wasn't paying attention
It doesn't matter whether AGW is real or not, the conservative base (and most of America) don't believe it is or don't believe it is of enough importance to warrant the government to do anything about it. Romney apparently wasn't paying attention last fall when the right wing of the party took over. Right now is not the time to be attempting to play to the RINO's or right wing of the democratic party. I think he will do about the same thing as Gingrich and fall by the wayside.

He has the best chance of wining in the general election, either him or Ron Paul.
|
It wouldn't suprise me if he didn't win the nomination. He can raise alot of money but I am too skeptical of him. The more I research Herman Cain the more he interest me. He is climbing in the polls too.
|
Romney is like a statue when he is speaking, he just is not intresting enough. Reminds me of what I learned about Nixon, he keeps to himself. Very disciplined.

Mark Levin made a similar statement on Friday's program.
Also from Mark's twitter.... "marklevinshow Mark R. Levin That's it. First Romneycare, then he favors ethanol subsidies, and now he embraces man-made global warming.... http://fb.me/HNAyzLuJ " That's three strikes and you're out, Romney! I will be voting for Sarah Palin in the primary. Rumor has it that Palin will be declaring on July 4th. By then more of these RINO's will have imploded. |
I wouldn't run if I were Palin. Its not like the media is going to give her, or any other conservative woman for that matter, a fair shot. They have had it out for her from the jump. She has it pretty good now doing what shes doing. Traveling around the country doing speaking gigs, campaigning for other politicians, raising money for sarahpac and making millions for herself and her family. Why quit all that just to throw yourself to the wolves? Not a good business decision IMO.

And Herman Cain would just be dismissed by the media as an “Uncle Tom” because he is not the “right type” of black guy. Nominating Cain would be a gift to Obama. A gift of FOUR MORE YEARS.

Ron Paul or bust.

Thats fair, Its just strange how Newt and Rick Santorum got let go from Fox because they were thinking about running for president (this was before they announced their exploratory committee), but Sarah is still there? IDK how fox works when it comes to that kind of situation, she should be gone too.
|
If you see Fox release her soon, it probably will be a sure sign that she is running. I still doubt she will though.
Fox gave Huckabee an ultimatum and he decided to stay there and not run. Maybe they will do the same with her soon, but she doesn't have her own show like Huck did so her situation is a little different. |
Thats what I was thinking with Huckabee early on, but they should do somthing, shes going to be a spoiler if she gets into the race late.

I think pretty much everybody from the GOP who ran for President last time around is damaged goods and don't really have a chance at winning the office. Sarah Palin has a lot to overcome and I doubt she will be able to do it. I think her best bet is to run for national office in either the Senate or House for a term or two. That would give her the time to overcome the errors she made in the last election and build her resume. Michelle Bachman is interesting, but I don't know enough about her to take a decision either way. Ron Paul has been too far out there in the past to really be a contender this year, although he has some interesting ideas. Right now I think Herman Cain has the best chance if the economy stays in the tank. He has the financial chops to win. He has the background that many in the democratic party say can't be done and he did it without affirmative action. His biggest problem is name recognition and the lack of coverage by the mainstream media. It means he will have to spend a lot of money on ads to get his message out. If it wasn't for the right leaning media I would have barely heard of Cain.
