Found out my farm truck got stolen...
1994 F-350 XLT 4x4, 7.3L non-turbo, manual trans, standard cab long bed.
Found out this weekend that a little over a week ago someone got into the shop on our farm, found the spare keys to our '94 F-350, and drove it off with one of our chainsaws and two 5 gallon jugs full of gas. With the truck only having 107,000 miles on it and zero rust, I know the truck is probably already in peices and scatered through mutliple states.
I know I'm preaching to the choir posting here, but I just dont know how people can live with themselves doing this. Our farm is in the middle of nowhere Kansas, miles away from any civilization, so the people clearly knew what they were looking for. While the truck has relatively little monitary value ($8-9000), it has enormous sentamental value to my family. My grandpa custom ordered it for himself a little over a year before he died.
I keep checking craislist and ebay hoping something will pop up, but I know it probly wont.

I work for a county east of Wichita, with several highways going through our county. Got a tag, pic or a better description? I'll be sure to run every tag that resembles what was taken.

For years now, small things like hand tools and limestone rocks of old buildings have been "walking off", and gas in our storage tank has been "evaporating", but nothing to this level. In some way I'm somewhat happy I wasnt there when this happened, cause the name of this thready would instead be, "Put someone 6ft under today..." and I'd be posting here from behind bars.
I've been trying to find pictures i have of the truck, but cant find any. The truck is two tone blue, with a brush guard, work rear bumper with big ole mud flaps and MT tires. The truck is also void of any above wheel-well rust, which is cancer on these trucks. The truck has a Washington county tag on it.

Thats what I'm affraid of. But since 5 gallon jugs of gas have been growing legs at numerous farms around us, I'm HOPING its just some stupid kids who came looking for stuff they could use, and stumbled upon the spare keys to the truck. I keep hoping that it was just taken for a joyride/mudding adventure, and it will show up in a random field any day.
Yup, full insurance, so that's good. It's the sentamental value that we're missing since it was my grandpas truck.
