How many have you owned?

I'm on my fourth F-150.
1. '99 XLT single cab step-side 4x2
2. '00 XLT single cap step-side 4x4 Off-Road
3. '02 Lightning
4. '08 King Ranch Super Crew 4x4
I keep gettin' Ford trucks for a few different reasons. First, I've been rear-ended in both an F-150 and a Dodge Ram. Both were pretty hard hits. The Ram was totalled, and the F-150 barely had the bumper tweaked. Not even dented. Just tweaked. Second, I think Fords are the best lookin' trucks. Third, I've never had any issues with a Ford truck.
I have to admit I was lookin' at other companies recently. The reason was because I felt the 5.4L engine was behind the competition. As much as I love Ford, I prefer to have the best out there. I didn't think the 5.4L was the best anymore. However, now that Ford has new engines goin' in their trucks, my next truck will likely be another Ford. Looks like they raised the bar yet again.

Just my 05. i love it. I am going to mod it to the teeth and keep it forever. I think my next vehicle will be a 4 door jeep, but keep the truck. I just cant see myself getting rid of this truck. I have put quite a bit of money into it, mods, maintenance, and sadly quite a few repairs. I love it. My gf is getting a new mustang too.

Bought a new '94 4.9 xl when I was 18. Had it for 14yrs. Sold it 2-1/2 yrs ago when the brake lines blew. It was rusted pretty bad from Michigan winters, but the engine and trans were still going strong @175k.
When I sold it I bought an 07 5.4 xlt that I hope to get 20yrs out of, now that I am in the south.

Officially: 3
Unofficially: Six
Three F-150's, and three Expeditions (Which are basically F-150's).
What keeps me coming back? Well, from 2003 - Present, it's been the X-Plan Pricing. From 1999 - 2003, was the quality of the trucks. Actually, that's still true today as well.
I've driven other trucks, and was particulary smitten with the new Tundra, Sequoia, and the new GM Trucks. Well, I had the opportunity to spend nearly two weeks behind the wheel of a 2010 Silverado Crew Cab, and while I LOVED the exterior styling, on the inside it looked really cheap with little thought put into it's design.
I'll admit, the Silverado would handily whip the **** of any Ford truck I've owned in a redlight show down. But when it comes to interior fit & finish, quality of the plastis and fabrics, the design and layout of the dash, the feel of the seats, the ride quality, and just the solid feel of the truck, only the Tundra comes close, but no one truly matches the Ford trucks where it counts the most... the area of the truck that you ride in.
Although I love the looks of the Tahoe and Suburban, and in some ways wanted to break with tradition and get "Something different". When the time came to write out the check a few weeks ago, that check was for another Ford truck, my 6th one in 11 years.
Once you get used to quality- you can't go backwards. I've seen the reliability and durability of the Fords. I've lived it... That's what keeps me coming back.
