A few months back I picked up a $30k bedroom set for $2,500 that was brought to the action block from a bankrupted furniture store. Nice set but it was missing a night stand.

Last week my wife and I went to the action block and finally found one that had a similar style as our bedroom set but was painted (not stained) a deferent color but we picked it up anyways for $90 bucks.

So, all I needed was to match the stain to my existing furniture.

After wiping it clean, I took some spray paint and went to work. ============================> VVV Here is the final result.

To create the wood grain I just wiped on some black paint with a rag, then let it dry for a few minutes and sprayed my final color coat.

It's got a Villa Valencia Tag on the bed frame and inside a drawer of each piece.

When the auctioneer was attempting to sell the set to the highest bidder, he repeatedly said the bed room set was from a high end furniture store in Laguna Niguel, CA that went out of business due to bankruptcy and that the original price at the store was $30K.

You did that with SPRAY PAINT? That's unbelieveable. I'm lucky if I get away with no drips when I use spray paint.
