U.N. Climate Change Expert Cites More Errors in Report

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,583711,00.html

The head of a panel of United Nations climate scientists said Saturday he would not resign despite a recent admission that a panel report warning Himalayan glaciers could be gone by 2035 was hundreds of years off.

Some will still think we need to cripple our economy and cede our rights to international organizations. Just in case there really is global warming.

Stealth Jan 23, 2010 12:24 PM

Exactly, even though climate change is a natural process.

Al Gore and his cohorts need to spend more time in Canada. Despite the fact that the planet is warming up (supposedly), we've been having some of the coldest winters in 15 years.

Every morning when I check the forecast, it shows the record temps for that day. About every 10 years there's been record warm temps set. It lasts for a couple weeks, then it goes back into the normal range. Right now we're in another warm spell for this time of year, usually it's in the -15C to -30C range. For the last week or so we've been in the -10C to +4C range.

The last time it was this mild was roughly 10 years ago, then it was 10 years before that, and so on.

It's a testament to mankind's arrogance to believe we have the power to change the climate on an entire planet.:coffee:

I think it has more to do with the temperature at the pole's being warmer. That supposedly throws everything off so that's why, it's been ridiculously cold here too.

Anyway, climate change is real. Are human's causing it? NO! Money making scheme is what it is. See what al gore's income is now.
These nut job liberal's wanna say we're responsible for everything. I'll take the credit or blame...whatever you wanna call it. I burn as much gas as i possibly can...:rocker:

It's going to be interesting to see how the Robber Barons at the U.N. handle all of this. :coffee:

And even more. How to create global warming.

From Stealth's link

The IPCC "made a clear and obvious error when it stated that Himalayan glaciers would be gone by 2035," Patrick J. Michaels, a senior fellow in environmental policy at the libertarian Cato Institute, said in an interview.

"The absurdity was obvious to anyone who had studied the scientific literature. This was not an honest mistake. IPCC had been warned about it for a year by many scientists."

Frank S Jan 26, 2010 11:33 AM

Chris Horner called these people (IPCC) out in his 1998 book, "Red Hot Lies". I knew it was going to be good when I saw the name of the first chapter: "Greenpeace steals my trash".

Everyone wants money. It's all about them and the NGO's--Non-Governmental Organizations-making loads of money off of Climate Change (MANBEARPIG).
