Folks wanted change. So we got to go from bad to worse. Unfortunately, I don't see the USA coming out of this one. Too many factors against the USA like the dollar is being replaced as the world currency and will be subject to the actual value. Nobody(as in other countries) will be wanting it as a hedge against inflation. China has been dumping the trillions they have for gold at the various international institutions. The oil producing countries are tired of Washingtons crap and are just about to release their own currency which means you better be ready for some EXPENSIVE gas. And we all already know if gas goes up, so does everything else especially groceries. Get ready folks. You wanted change, it's coming....and you ain't gonna like it.

u don't change something just to change something , we have may have had it bad before, but we changed for the worst, instead of putting $3 billion towards health care, we put it towards a stimulus cash for clunkers , what a joke:eek:

obama classic quote "we as americans can't squander energy any more , we must cut back on fossil fuels, lowering thermostats,be the example for the world" next day they did tour in whitehouse and michelle had stats at 80 degrees- typical political hypocrite...

 No bud.

Its going to get worse before it gets worse. We had all better hope that this guy and all his friends gets shut down in 2010. Even if that were to happen then who do we have willing to step in, man up, and turn all this crap back around? The hole we are digging ourselves is only getting bigger. I agree entirely with Labnerd on this one. Just wait.. because there WILL come a day when all of these countries that have been buying into the United States debt call the margin on us. If China decided now that they wanted their money.. what would we do? Being 11trillion in the hole and counting.. yeah maybe they can just print out some more money.. as if thats not what they were already doing. That day is coming.. What are we going to do then? Run to the UN begging and pleading for them to bail us out? OR maybe we can pull our heads out of our.. before it happens. Who knows? All I know is that I hope for the latter.

Another stimulus he says? Hell, we could not afford the first one.

Obama keeps saying, "Put money into the hands of small business's.(Which has not been done) They are the backbone of America."
What are these small business's suppose to do, if their customers have no money to sustain them. But if you put the money in the pockets of everyday people, they buy foreign products, and don't forget the energy we have, that government prevents us from developing.
There are just to many special interest groups ruining our Country.....

How about a special interest group "Save America", that get all of the bullchit repealed. Lets tackle ANWAR first.

funny small buisinesses were helped out?i didn't get any help, but people who couldn't afford cars got to buy them because of a $3 billion cash for clunkers stimulus, they got $3500-4500 and interest rates they can't afford-but hey, we'll bail them out like the idiots with variable rate mortages...

We have that movement now. They're called, "tea baggers" by the media and the "astro turf movement" by the Dems. I guess they just don't believe that American's want a fiscally responsible government.

Personally I find it very interesting that our government seems to be running toward a more socialist governmental model when the traditionally socialist type governments in Europe are abandoning that model.

I googled the AstroTurf movement.(I had missed that one.) The first thing I noticed was Ross Perot. Don't get me wrong, He is a smart cookie. But the Medea will crucify him just like they did in the 80's. He has answers for serious questions, but he don't have the right answers for the leg hounds. His biggest mistake, was when he was quoted saying "You people are never happy." to an ethnic individual(The comment was overly exaggerated, and taken out of the context he intended it.). After that, he was made to look like an idiot every time he spoke.(by the Medea that is.) He would do better by getting a puppet, to run in his place.:beers:

My biggest issue with Obama is that he hasn't delivered on his promises. He promised change, transperancy, bipartisanship, not increasing the deficit, and making more jobs for Americans.

"He aint done chit", as my uncle would say.

This crap with him sitting on his hands not making a decision on more troops in Afghanistan is really pissing me off. Its been almost 2 months! Make a freaking decision!! Pull us out altogether or give our troops the tools they need to beat the bastards! Has everyone forgotten 9/11 already?

In reality he is just another politician, and even worse a Chicago style politician. His tactics are idiotic. Trying to shut Fox News out because they don't kiss his ass is one example. Freedom of the press anyone?? But he will meet with that idiot Keith Olberman and Rachel Maddow and a few others for over 2 hours in secret to strategize? Plus he always seems to be in campaign mode and hasnt switched over to being president mode imo. It seems like he is always doing fundraisers. He has already done 22 since he has been in office.

Anyway I will stop, just had to vent a little this morning, sorry......

avfrog Oct 24, 2009 02:47 PM

If we keep this thread up, he will have it shut down! He is trying to demolish our rights to freedom of speech and freedom of the press. He is trying to limit what is said on FOX news (I think that is the channel) because they speak the mind and give honest opinions on presidential actions. WTF! Free country my ASS! How can someone be a good president and go against the constitution. Both of his parents weren't even born in the USA, how the f did he make president in the first place!?

avfrog Oct 24, 2009 02:52 PM

America voted for "change". Is more government control and a loss of our constitutional rights what America had in mind?
