I think most names here are fairly easy to figure out but some aren't. I just thought it would be interesting to put a real first name along with the names I have seen on here everyday or so. I have named every vehicle I have owned by color in the name. I know it is silly but my wife says I'm a big kid anyway.

My name is Marty and I kept with the color named vehicle tradition with my truck. So, what is your first name and what does your username mean?

 

When I first got a computer and got on line way back there, my main interest was downloading and trading old blues music. My name is Jim, starts with a "jay", so I was Bluejay. Just stayed with it because it's easier that way.

My truck is Black Rose from a song by Billie Joe Shaver.

 

My name came to be after a particularly rough day at work...this was years ago (1997?) and have been using this nick since then. It's how I felt at the end of that day.

my real name is jake and i went with thejake1989 since that was an email address a chick made for me in hs along time ago (1989 is the yr i was born). used it since when i first signed up here i didnt think it would go this far and it was easy to remember.

 

Mine was made because of my real first name, Marlin, and my age when I joined.

 

Mine is my Clemson user id and email address. It's the first letter of my first name and my last name put together. First name...Matt. Use it almost everywhere since I'm so used to it.

 

Mine is fairly unoriginal, my first name last initial. I didn't put much thought into it, back when I joined the site, I was researching mods for my truck since it was close to being paid off. Now that it's 5 years later and I'm still around, I wish I'd have come up with something a little more unique. Eh well.

 

My name came from my last name combined with the last two digits of my birthyear. So i got Watson91.

My first name is Alex.

Same concept here, first initial last name. Been using it for email at jobs since '88, so I stuck with it on all forums. Prior to '88 VMmail was those goofy RF2847T names.

Easier than remembering ( at the time ) 2001SilverSCrew on here, Crashandburntryinganendo on Stunlife, Silver01ZG on STN, etc.

The one thing I screwed the pooch on was having the caps lock on when I registered in '02, this is the only site I screwed that up on for some reason
