New addition to our family...

Picked up a new addition to our family. She's a cross-breed between a rat and a rabbit. Oh well, the kids love her.

She's a full chihuahua. A floppy eared chihuahua Actually I hope her ears never stand up. I haven't weighed her yet but I would say MAYBE 2 lbs. Shes' 4 months old. At least I won't be spending much of dog food.

I would have never guessed. She doesn't have the bugged eyes like most Chis. Bet she is a sweet little thing. Your kids are big enough to take good care of her and be gentle with her. That's good.

That is one cute pup! My wife has been making noises about adding a new member to the family but I am afraid if we got a small dog like that our big cat would try and eat it.

Yeah our cat's a little freaked out right now. He's huge next to this dog. It might get interesting. Good thing he's declawed.

Most small dogs do. It's as if they feel that attitude has to make up for size. Mine has gone after a Rottie before. Thank goodness they were both on leashes and it was a strong guy on the Rottie's leash. Maggie is 17 lbs and she makes my daughter's 100 lb Lab go to the ground. Of course, that's because he's willing to let her.

Nice pup. If you don't mind me asking, how much did she run you? My lady wants a dog so so so bad, lol.

We got her from a friend of a friend. I guess the ladies existing dog did not like sharing his owners with the new puppy. She tried everything she could but it just didn't work out. We gave $100 for her. She said she gave $275 for her.

We went to the humane shelter quite a few times but the kids just couldn't decide on one. They had some lab/sheppard mix puppies that someone dumped off that I wanted. But my wife wasn't too keen on the idea of having an 80 or so lb dog in the house. I really wish we could of found a dog all 5 of us agreed on at the shelter. It would have cost us just as much to adopt a dog from there but I would have paid more to save one that fit with our family.

awww what a cute little thing!!! Yea little dog's definitely have BIG attitudes so have fun with that. My 18lb shih tzu mix has the biggest attitude ever, makes my 65lb pit mix look like a baby lol

If she's 4 months old and her ears aren't standing then they probably won't at all...but who knows
