Where will'it stop???

Hi! Here in LaSalle (Montreal), I filled up this am the tag was .82.9 liter, it translate into 82.9 X 5/liter = 4.15$ CDN, which is 2.50 US$! Boy I remember driving big block 440 4 pack and the fuel was .75 cents a gal CDN (one quart bigger than a US gal.) Plus the buck was 1.10 US$ and we thought it was EXPENSIVE!!!

The station here in Omaha I trade at peaked about 10 days ago at $1.86/gallon. I drove past it today and it had dropped to $1.79/gallon. That's definately going in the right direction.

Picked up my SCrew on Saturday, had my first fill-up this morning... 34 bucks. *zoinks* I always expected it to be more than my 2-dr Explorer, but maaan. Talk about sticker shock! Looks like I picked the wrong time for my Explorer's lease to run out. https://www.f150online.com/f150board/smile.gif

This gas price will never stop and I can care less about it. Just think, has the price of milk (or beer to make it more interesting) ever stopped from rising? No, but we keep buying it, right (beer or milk, what ever). What does scare me is when we run out of gas. Some experts say it will be over in the next 100 years. Reason why some companies have started developing their electric vehicles, Food for thought.

I wonder... What will it look like a F150 with a very long extension cord!!!
Seriously, It only comes down to one point, more profit for the big oil compagnies. They know that they can sqeeze us and well'spit! I am sure of one thing, If we were all driving cars that do 80/mg, gaz would be way cheaper. Here with all the taxes, even both levels of governement are enjoyng themselves

My fillups are $50+. 2 weeks ago I hit a record of $59.

Of course I'm using Texaco Power Premium which has been bouncing from about $1.86 to $1.89.

I just don't think about it. https://www.f150online.com/f150board/frown.gif
