So I'm leaving the grocery store...

and as my wife and I walk out to her car this guy places his cart right behind her car. I'm sitting there and we get closer and closer and the guy is still sitting in his truck next to our car. I pop the trunk and yell at the guy, "Hey thanks a lot a$$ hole, I really wanted a flipping cart right behind my car". He proceeds to look at me like I am speaking chinese or something so I say it again, a little louder this time. Now he understands. Without saying a word, he gets out, pushes his cart an extra 10 feet to the cart thingy and gets back in his truck. As he walked by in a calm voice I said, "Thanks man". I think I scared the poop out of him.

I am just so tired of people being so lazy. The funny thing is, a year ago I would have watched him drive away and pushed the cart myself.

Then 30 seconds after he pulls off this black lady doing like 30mph down the lane blows her horn and gives this little asian dude the finger for trying to cautionsly pull out of his parking spot. Seriously, what gives with people these days?

You should have just pushed in behind or in front of his vehicle and flipped him off and continued on with what you were doing like nothing happened.

It crossed both of our minds. The other thought I had was to push it right into the rear fender of his gay explorer sport. I think my method worked best though.

I would say it got the point across.

I put the carts in those cart corral things. Some people are just lazy pukes. I ignore them.

People have no respect for other people or their property. Every one's in such a damn hurry that all they think about is themselves, ya' know?

I guess I just got tired of people walking all over me and treating me like *****? I try and try to be as nice and respectful as I can to everyone, but in the end if you do something disrespectful that causes me an inconvience or hurts my wife I'm going to call you out.

I hope that if I ever get too lazy to simply return my cart to the corral that someone will tell me. People are just amazing anymore.

houston four: I feel the same way you do these days. I am getting a bit more outspoken at peoples stupidity.

If someone doesn't say something they will think that it's acceptable when in fact it's down right rude. I hope he remembers that moment forever and always puts his buggy up. I was waiting for him to say something smart, but I guess I appear like a big guy...key word...appear LOL.

I, too, am irritated with the lack of respect from people these days. However, I am more irritated by the apathy and complete disappearance of respect and responsibility by younger people in high school and college for people's new cars and other prized possessions. A buddy's new car was dented by someone who was trying to joke around, and he flipped out over it, but everyone thought he was overreacting. wtf?

Here in NYC the cart cost .25 cent to use and the only way to get your quarter back is to return it to another cart and insert this push thing to push your quarter out.
