Anyone build one or own one. Im thinking of building one with a manufactured tube frame and a donor vw bug. Any info, tips, suggestions, websites would be great.

As a matter of fact me and my father are in the process of building one as we speak. It is a long travel 'Suspensions Unlimited' mid-engine frame with a 2 rotor mazda engine. The frame was already built when we got it. We have modified it to fit our needs and custimized here and there.
As for tips: have a good welder handy if you plan on doing any welding. Nothing is worse then using a bad welder. Also if you are planning on using an expanded steel floor pan and are going to weld it in yourself, get a welding mask that has the lenses that turn on and off as you work. They make it so much easier. Other then that just take your time and think everything through twice.
Good luck and have fun,
Bones
P.S. Nice air in those pics!!
