5th grade math problem
Think you left a line out
This is a real math problem, so don't say that a bus has no legs.
There is no bus driver.
There are 7 girls in a bus.
Each girl has 7 backpacks.
In each backpack, there are 7 big cats.
For every big cat there are 7 little cats.
Question: How many legs are there in the bus?

There is no bus driver.
There are 7 girls in a bus.
Each girl has 7 backpacks.
In each backpack, there are 7 big cats.
For every big cat there are 7 little cats.
Question: How many legs are there in the bus?

Each sack has 7 big cats with 7 little cats per big cat which means there are 56 cats in each sack.
7 groups of 7 = 49 + the original 7 big cats = 56 cats. 56x4=224 legs per sack.
7 sacks x 224 legs= 1568 cat legs per girl
7 girls x 1568 cat legs = 10,976 legs + the 14 girl legs = 10,990
Here is a similar riddle:
As I was on my way to Saint Ives I met a man with seven wives.
Seven wives had seven sacks.
In seven sacks were Seven cats
Seven cats had seven kittens.
Kittens, cats, sacks and wives, how many were there on their way to Saint Ives?
As I was on my way to Saint Ives

Is taller than trees,
Up, up it goes
And yet never grows?

It cannot be seen, cannot be felt,
Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt.
It lies behind stars and under hills,
And empty holes it fills.
It comes first and follows after,
Ends life, kills laughter.
What is.....
A coffin
