I got to thinking about it today, and i was curious. How often do you guys all wax your trucks. And how often should you wax them. I live in Indiana and i drive through mud/snow/salt ect...i do about every season.

 

Im usually good for atleast 3 washes a month and a wax every other month

 

Averages out to wash once a month, wax twice a year.

 

If i had the time i would do it as much as you do. But its like with job school n girl, i have no time for the best thing of all. My truck

 

Ha!! Wait until you get married, have kids and buy a house.

 

BINGO..... Plus being laid off for sometime now helps with the house hold chores and living in south florida where its alway hot all year long makes it a good car washing state if anything else.

Personally in the summertime my truck never has one speck of dirt on it because I was it about once a week (usually every saturday). And everytime I wash my truck I use some Turtle wax quick spray wax while drying my vehicle off. That Being said my Truck is good for 4-5 hard paste waxes a year. I usually do it on one of those days its about 50 degrees out right before it starts to get cold out, right when it starts warming up and about two or three times in the summer.

 

whenever i can get my brother to make a trip out my way he does it for me.

Wash 2-3 times a month, wax at least twice a year.

 

I *try* to wax every 3 months with a full on detail every 6.

 

I'm from Auburn, Really close to Fortwayne.

 

I wash whenever I figure a) it won't be dirty by the time I get home (wet salty roads) or b) when I have time. I try to wax it mid spring and the first part of fall. Sometimes but not often during the summer.

It doesn't have to slow you down to a crawl though... I may be an anomoly here though... I don't know.
