When I saw the thread title, I thought maybe you were looking in a mirror.

I would not be able to live where there is that much snow and for so long a time.

Yep, I'm ready for spring. At least the days are staring to get a little longer.

We have a Winter Storm Warning in effect---most likely 10 inches of snow within the next day. And to think that I used to really like winter when I was a kid...

We were hit hard today as well. First it started off foggy, then the sun came out which cooked off the fog around 10am. By lunch time the temp hit about 74* with a clear blue sky and light, warm, southern breeze. Right now its 66* and I'm considering closing the windows in the house before I turn in for the night, not sure tho. But right now I'm enjoying a cold brew on the deck under the starlit night.

Best wishes to you guys in the great white north, but I'll take Texas winters all month long cuz that's all they last.

Still kinda full from the 12oz ribeyes that we grilled earlier, but thanks for the offer.

FWIW I've done my share of living in those conditions. Stationed in Germany while in the Army, and lived in northern West Virginia while attending university. I vowed then to settle somewhere where the winters are mild and don't keep me house bound for weeks at a time. Well, I found it in eastern Texas.
