8th grade drop-out... School of hard knocks. Graduate the year I die.
15 years Aircraft Electronics Tech.
4 years Network Infrastucture Installation Manager.

School's all but impossible when you travel all the time. Someday a degree in Pychology maybe. I do enjoy school though, I find being around fresh and open minds very invigorating.

To begin with, I am a third generation F-150 owner. I would not have it any other way.

I am 30 years old, and I have been a fanatic since before I can remember. My mother told me the first word out of my mouth was FORD. The funny thing is, she told me I READ it on the back of a Ford truck. (no kidding)

My truck is the 26th vehicle I have owned. (Yes, I have owned more than one of each of the big
three). I got my first ticket when I was 14, in my own car.

I retired my tools in '97 with these qualifications:

Four years formal education in Automotive Technology (Degree attained)

ASE Master Technician
Ford Electronics Specialist
Ford Drivability Specialist
Ford Transmission Specialist
G.M. Electronics Specialist
(I had to see how the other half lives)

Certified CAD drafter

I am currently employed by IBM corporation, and I intend to never leave.

I hope to start a business soon, I really want to get into high performance conversions.

Was getting killed in the mech. engineering program At Auburn University, so I switched majors to Building science, but it was too little too late and I lost my full ride for Army ROTC. That was last year, but am now registered For spring semester At Middle Tenn. State Univ. majoring in Construction Management, and will continue with ROTC.

At the risk of sounding pompus (remember you asked):

Associate in Animal Industries (Agriculture) and an Associate in Veterinary Sciences.

State Board Certified Veterinary Technologist

Numerous Certifications in EPA Hazardous Materials Emergency Response and Hazardous Chemical Management.

Currently working on my CHMM Certification.

Most importantly: Having worked for Clemson University now for 20 years and butting heads with some of the smartest people in the world feel I have earned a PhD in PhD's.

Regrets? Not having finished my Bachelors after all this. Tell your kids that.

Currently finishing first semester at Stevens Institute of Technology. Right across the river from NYC in Hoboken, NJ. Going for a BE in Computer Engineering. Will hopefully settle into a comfortable job with Lucent Technologies or Bellcore or BellLabs somewhere in the suburbs of NJ...
