Smile First Tow

I tested my truck for the first time today, 5000mi, and I am very pleased. I am not an experienced tower, but I would rate it's performance excellent. It was a short 20 miles round trip pulling an '87 dodge caraven. The ride was a little bumpy, but I do not have the tow pkg, so I expected that. More than enough power and very good brakes. I had the overdrive off and most of the trip was 35 - 45 mph. In about a week I will be towing it again minus the engine this time, funny it is worth more in pieces than a whole.

JA_Stang86,
First off you've got to be more careful how you name your topics. This morning when I saw this I went into spasms and spilled coffee all over myself because we have virtually the same truck except my key won't start yours.
(Sorry, but I did try.)
Anyway, I too am happy with the towing. When pulling my boat(3500lbs) the truck performs like my wife's Windstar with just me in it. Also found that the Autolamp feeds to the trailer hookup. Don't know why I thought it wouldn't.

Your truck sounds like it's as nice as mine. Keep it down in SC, I don't need the competition!
