It's kinda cool. At first it looked like a Scion xB to me, but after I sat in one and messed with the back seats, there is a lot more to it. I don't think its the best looking vehicle, but they get good gas mileage, and seat 7? I kinda like it because it looks different from most things out on the road.

I love my F150 and every one I have had. I find them very comfortable in seating and just overall feel when sitting in them. I tried out a Flex in the dealership one day and to be honest, unlike just about all cars and other smaller vehicles like the Edge, Escape, or Ranger, I found them quite comfortable. As far as looks, I don't find them ugly, nor do I find them good looking like the F150.

like i said i cant make up my mind.

sexy - i guess thats up to the individual.

i think a woman in work boots and a baseball cap driving a truck (with a hot body) is sexy but head across the river to new york and i dont think they would agree

I'm sold. After driving one (corny because that's their slogan, I know) but it's true. As for me bieng 6'6", it was comfortable in a big way. I like the fact the roof is multiple colors, silver, white and regular body color if not more options and the rear is nice. It's boxy like the Scion, oh my God, the thaught made me sick, and the interior is manly with lots of chrome tastefully placed. It's not cheap but what is? Incentives should be starting if not already.

We were seriously looking at one for my wife a few months ago. Functionally it's Great, tons of room, third row seating, nice ride...

Styling wise.... Let's just say people either love it or hate it. We weren't really into it.

fyi, we ended up going with a Ford Taurus X Cross Over and love it. AWD, third row seating, leather, DVD for the kids. This thing is Sweet! Built on a Volvo Chassis with a Ford Drive train.

They need to come up with a better name for it though....

Been looking at them hard...almost bought one a couple of months ago but 24mpg is not that great to me. I love the quality and roominess of the interior but dislike the low close to the ground fact. Maybe I would get one and get a lift but then the mpg would drop.
Still torn about the purchase versus another screw in the family.

I think they look sweet, and they are very roomy and luxurious on the inside, I'd buy one for my wife if I had a wife

Well, I took one home for the weekend to see if I liked it. The vehicle I took was a fully loaded front wheel drive model that got every bit of 24 mpg everywhere I drove. I am 6'5" and about 300lbs and I fit in this vehicle VERY comfortably. I had more than enough room for my wife, my brother and his wife and 2 of our children. When I drove around with just my wife and two children, we put them in the VERY back and they are WAY WAY back there and away from driving me crazy.

The only problem I had with this vehicle was going to the top of my office building. It fit ok, but at the very top of the pretty curved steep ramp there is a slight additional bump. The vehicle was unable to get over the bump, since because of the incline, a lot of the vehicle's weight was at the rear of the vehicle. Being a front-wheel drive vehicle, I just spun the tires. At this point, I was very disappointed with the front wheel version of the vehicle. They do offer an All-Wheel-Drive version of this vehicle at a loss of mileage and an increase in price. At about $40,000, it is a bit too much for too little. If you have the money and don't have to go over any steep incline bumps, then this is an excellent vehicle at the front wheel drive model.

so im sitting talking to the wife and she says to me, why would you consider a flex when you hate the dealers in the area? i said good point, that was the end of the conversation. ive mentioned in other posts that the only decent ford dealer, where i bought my past 3 f150's and my mustang closed a year or so ago. sales was great along with service. i would ride thru the back lot and call the sales guy on my cell phone and give the guy the tag number off a truck and he would tell me what the bottom line is. service they made a mistake or two but then went crazy trying to make it right.

i went by a ford lot yesterday and they had at least 18 flexes on the lot.

probably will be another gmc to replace her yukon when its time. where we got the yukon they could give the ford dealers in cnetral jersey some lessons in customer service and care

This is an equal factor as to why big 3 lost share in the market. Evidently some still don't get it. I stayed away for quite a few years.

i just cant bring myself to buy foreign. last foreign vehicle i bought was a diesel pickup back when they were called datsuns.

its a simple formula for success.

1 build quality ( i think theyve got that)
2 build what people want to buy
3 keep it affordable
4 have quality dealers for sales and service

well at least fords got one covered
