Lightbulb We will face a major Internation crisis due to Obama's inexperience.

Wondering what the sense is of this statement from Joe Biden about how the world will test Obama if he is elected.

"Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking," Biden said. "Watch, we're gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy."

I don't see it as much of an issue. What if McCain/Palin won and McCain died. You think somebody isn't going to test Palin? Obama would just call on folks that have been there, done that, like Colin Powell and others. The President never handles these things alone anyway. That's why we have our tax dollars at work paying advisors. If you are a McCain supporter, remember, the Congress runs the Government, not the President. If you want to insure minimal damage from Obama, make sure to vote Republican for Congress. With Obama in power and a Democratic Congress, we are all doomed to more taxes, laws, regulations, and socialism.

I don't buy the bit about McCain dying for any scenario. You can "what if" about everything. The scenario is someone will "test" Obama when he is elected. The flip side of that is, will someone test McCain if he is elected.

I'm sure Iran is one of the countries who will "test" Obama if he is elected. Hopefully Obama will make a strong statement rather than sit down without preconditions to talk it out.

You are correct about the congress, but there is something that runs even deeper than that. We have to worry about the supreme court justices Obama would support if he were elected.

He's basically a figure head to a party, you either like Republican or democrat. Inexperienced or not, you have tons of advisors and advisors for them. I wished you Americans had Billy Clinton back runnin', that SOB got things done. Just somebody fix the economy, trade issues etc. It's funny how many Canadians follow American politics, it does matter to us too. Look at out screwed up system, we just had a $330 million election to put the exact same number of seats exactly where they were, give or take. Tell me that wasn't a waste of time and more importantly money.

I don't care what anyone says, Palin's hot- go McCain, you pimp you!!!!

America is ****ed up, thats why some one would try to kill him. How messed up in the head do you have to be to not only kill another man just because of skin color, but to KILL THE PRESIDENT of the United States because he is different skin color. This country sucks, a lot.

Progress has been made, racial relations IMO are much better now than they were 15 years ago. We have has our share of presidential assassinations, whether they are after you for your ideals, your color or your past anyone in that figure of authority will be a target by some nutjob group.

If that wasn't the case we wouldn't have much of a need for the secret service now would we?

Biden must have been referring to the Cuban misile crisis. Fortunately, whoever becomes president will not have a krushev to contend with, and a raging cold war.

No. Just North Korea, Iran, Syria, Afghanistan, on and on ..

People need to wake up, and use their brain. If EVERY Country that we are currently at issue with thinks Obama is the best choice for this country, what SHOULD that tell you?

Obama's administration will not be able to keep this country safe. We will pay the price, somewhere. More than likely on our own soil.

It tells me that the world is tired of Bush's Cowboy Diplomacy.

You can't stop a terrorist... If he or she wants to get on a city bus in New York, Chicago, LA, Boston, and Chicago with a bomb on his or her body, Bush, Clinton, Reagan, Obama, Biden, McCain, nor Palin could do anything about it. To me, that is much more horrific and much easier to coordinate than what happened on 9/11, and woudl strike fear in many more people.

They'll do it- remember a few years ago when everytime you turned on the TV, you heard about a bus being bombed in Israel? That is true terror- knowing it can strike you, in your daily routine, with no warning.

Keep your eyes open, but don't live life in fear- That's the goal of terrorism.

WTF ??? Really now ? A president has this power ? he can change it at will huh ?? Any chance I could ask you how ? What is he going to change about our constitution ? Please. I would love to hear.

Also, people saying they are worried about the new Supreme Court justice he will have to pick. They are worried he will pick someone based more on his own morals and ethics then..... you ? But you think McCain will pick someone we can all agree on ? Give me a break. Either one is picking someone they want. It will be a bias decision either way. I, personally, am far more afraid of McCain's choices then Obama's. Look at McCain's VP pick....

The president has to spend countless hours working with the VP. Would you rather be looking at Bidens ugly mug or trying to tap Palin? I'd take Palin too

Touche ! Definately wouldn't mind working closely with her ! But her running this country ?? I don't know. At least she'd have a higher viewer rating during her speeches then most !

Just don't have her do any more interviews !

i dont think skin color would be the only reason. If this country sucks so much, I bet some African or Middle Eastern nation has their doors open waiting for you .

Of course HE HIMSELF, cannot change the Constitution. That being said, he will have the power of persuation, IF elected, to call all the support he can muster to enact certain laws and policies to take away our rights. I'm refering to the 2nd amendment that allows each and every one of us the right to bear arms. His track record proves it. He's voted for EVERY bill that he can to take that righrt away. Included in this is,are you ready, voting for a bill that allows the prosicution of people who use a handgun for self defense in their home. The list of bills goes on and on but if you want to see for yourself I suggest you look them up on the NRA websight. Or try this link

Now I've said more than I ever wanted to get into and won't reply to any more nonsense. The facts speak for themselves and I know how I'll vote.
