I honestly don't even know what I want lol. I flip flop constantly between keeping this one for the long haul, trading it in for a Super Duty, or buying a new F-150. The Ecoboost Expeditions have also been catching my eye lately. And then there's the constant appeal of just buying an older truck for a few grand, not having a payment, and driving the Mercury most of the time.

I'm wearing myself out here

Locals know about it, I'm sure, but the rest of the world doesn't and then a ton of us "tourists" get to fight our way over to the middle lane or end up downtown in a cluster f. I assume they completed the wreck of construction between the Texas border and Beaumont. That was a 2 hour but whoopin' when I went thru there- ONE lane only at 15 mph. My usual 17 hour trip to Charleston was 26 hours due to construction and accidents. Thought I'd never get there.
I-10 is still tore-up east of Beaumont but it was double-lane and traffic moved along ok both coming and going when I was through there. I think I hate the Baton Rouge bridge the most -- that thing creeps me out and I have been stopped on it in bumper-to-bumper traffic and the thing just shook.....

The ones in New Orleans and Lake Charles ain't much better and I'm always glad to be back on "terra-firma" once I pass over them.....

The edge is finally ready to be picked up. Almost a week for a door latch, oil change and tire repair. The 2017 Explorer is nice but we both perfer the Edge. Ac sucks in the explorer, like worse than the 12th gen trucks. The Extended warranty picked up the Flat Repair and the door latch and they didnt charge for the oil change either. He said juat come back when we need something else done. Cant beat that!

Also Tonno Pro sent me a replacement bedcover since the first one was very loud. Second one isnt any better, finally figured the problem out. 13th gen front of bed curves, bedcover is straight across . So they are sending me a 3rd one and changing the order to the LoRoll. I think ill like it better so i have all my bed to use insteas of the trifold taking up a quarter of the bed.

Anyone ever have a Racoon come in their house when leaving a exterior door open? Happened to us this AM, let dogs out left door open for em to come in when done. Hear my Son yell look a Kitty! Thought to myself we have no cat, went to his room and a damn racoon was walking around like he owned the place. Then of course the dogs spotted him, it was a circus for about 5 mins before we got him out.

Neighbor next door at the ranch had 2 coons break in thru a window. Figured they were probably in the house a week before the ranch hand discovered the broken window. Last estimate I heard was $75,000 damages. They can tear things up and quick too.

Everyone should experience a Super Duty at least once in their life!

Back in Dallas this week -- hopefully just my two inspections that are scheduled for tomorrow and then hop in the car and drive back to Houston on Wednesday morning! Thinking about taking a day of vacation on Thursday and heading down to Galveston with the wife and kid for the day!
