Computer HELP PLEASE!!!! Spyware

Ok, I've been struck with adware/spyware or something. I have Norton 360 and it did not detect this.

There is a meesage spread across my desk top about "Spyware has been detected on your computer" with a link to: h ttp://antispyware-reviews.biz/?wmid=4663&pwebmid=R3n1c2Bg8A. It has also disabled the task manager.

I'm not computer savy so any help is greatly appreciated

Many thanks
EB

Go here http://siri.geekstogo.com/SmitfraudFix.php and follow the instructions. Important that you run it in safe mode.

Then get rid of Norton and get a good antivirus and some good antispyware apps.

Once you get this fixed, switch to Norton Internet security then download copies of Spybot and Adaware. Run scans regularly, especially before shutting down the system whenever possible. A good majority of bugs rely on a restart to activate. Spybot has an active assistant feature that alerts you to any attempts made to enter the system and then gives you the choice to allow it or not.

Get Adaware here:
Click on "more download sites" to get one with less traffic then CNET.

Spybot here:
Scroll down to the download section. This is a free download.

I would suggest Nod32 and spybot or xcleaner. Norton = sux no matter what version you have.

I know that you guys have already posted solutions for this but I'd figure that I'd send this out. I have had great luck with the Spybot and AdAware. There is also Spyware Blaster that runs in the background and acts of a firewall for spyware. Here is a good link for free software of all kinds, there's a lot of good stuff on here. Hope it helps!

I would get that while the getting is good if I was you 2fords. Kaspersky is one of the best out there. I have an extra license for Nod32 but I'm not giving it to nobody.
