Hartz Flea Spray Killed my dog

About four months ago we used Hartz 2 in 1 flea and tick spray on 3 of our dogs. Later that day my mom was online and found a web site hartzvictims.org and we were in shock in what we saw. there was case after case of animals dieing from this company's products. so we rushed Them in the bath room and gave them all a bath with dawn dish soap. we gave them a total of three baths in 2 days. On the third day i woke up to find our lab dead next to my moms bed. We rushed the other dogs to the vet and they did blood test on them and they came back positive with poison, just over the leathal dose in there system. The other dogs were fine after a couple days. i writing this to try and stop some one elese from having the same thing happen to there family.

Cripes, sorry to hear about the loss of your family member , but man; how can they still have that shiat on the shelves if this is happening at all, nevermind often?!?!

I use Revolution or Sentinel for my pooch. It controls heartworm as well as fleas, ticks, and ear mites.

I am sorry to hear about your dog. I have 3 dogs and 3 cats myself and they are part of my family.

I have never used any Hartz products. I use Advantix on my dogs and Advantage for my cats. It is a bit pricey, but I have never heard of any issues with the product.

Again, truly sorry to hear about your dog and family member. I certainly hope something is done if this is happening. Take care and god bless.

part of the problem is that the courts deem dogs to be livestock. The most you can win is the replacement cost of the animal.

As a dog lover, it makes me sick when they continue to sell stuff they know is harmful.

At this point i just want this off the shelf’s. i found the same product we used at Meijers, K-Mart, Wal-Mart, Pet co. We had the dog for seven years and when we got him he was the worst dog we ever had. he tore up our couch pissed everywhere tear up everything he could. And he was the most stubborn dog ive ever seen. But over time he became the most caring animal we ever had. Its already been 4 months since we lost him and it still brings tears to my eyes when I think about him. Thanks for the comments Please tell everyone you know not to use this product.

Interesting...

Very odd...

I think it is premeditated murder from the Hartz Corporation on dogs.
