I'm torn!!!???

Ok I bought the truck in may 07 and I love the thing it is my baby. I put a lot of time and money into it, but next year I will have it on campus and I will be driving a lot. I really like having the truck, but I am so torn on keeping it, or getting a mustang GT. I think it will depend on where I go to college. If I go to Virginia Tech next year I will be driving A LOT. If I go to MSU, I won't be driving as much and there are 4x4 places up here. I am just so torn as I was when I bought the truck. What do you guys think? I know some of you have the mustangs. If I got one, I guess the best option would be to strip the truck of all it's aftermarket stuff and sell that separately???? I am just so torn if you guys can help me out a little on my descision. Thanks:thumbsup:

I will definitely keep the truck if I go to MSU. But if I go to VT or ODU, then I have no need for 4x4 at all and then there was no point in getting the truck:( We'll see if I am transferring to VT or ODU and if I decide to transfer then I might think about doing a stang so I don't spend an arm and a leg in gas. We'll see I will talk to my dad next weekend when I am home about it but I will most likely keep the truck anyways because I don't want to loose the 6k if I sell it compared to when I bought it

Are you saying that if you transfer to VT you will be commuting from home, thus the increased gas usage? How long do you plan on attending VT? I hardly think that the amount of time that you will be attending VT will amount to the 6k or so that you might lose by selling. Plan your schedule to maximize your classes to 3 or 4 days per week to cut down on the commute.

Besides, how do you plan on getting that red rocket of yours around in a mustang?

Unless your not tell us everything, I say keep the truck regardless where you attend.

I will be attending VT for 3 years and driving 4 hours each way every 2-3 weeks. That is why I am considering getting a car. The bike will be trailered with a parent's car. But I need to talk to my dad about it anyways:thumbsup:

the mustang wont get much better milage then the truck. keep the truck, if you dont you will end up back in one in a couple years anyways, so i'd just keep it. :)

I get almost double the mileage in my Mustang as in my truck, that's not driving easy either.
