It's amazing what you can find in a scrap yard

I know a guy here locally that owns a scrap metal business. Someone brought 5 or 6 various size containers of scrap metal and car parts. They said they were clean out their garage and wanted to get rid of a bunch of junk.

The scrap metal business owner knew I was a Ford Nut and this is what he save and gave to me this evening.

What's this thing worth?

Its worth whatever you can get someone to pay you for it. Not trying to be an ***, but its pretty much the truth.

A new recycler just came into town a couple of years ago. Now selling scrap metla is not only a major hobby for many but also scrounging around the scrap yard is also a major hobby for may too.
My wife works right next door and they get to see the trailer loads of stuff going in. All the guys she works with including her bosses, go over there and scrounge in thier spare time. Or if they see a trailer with something they might want go in, they go the next day and buy it for a couple of bucks.

Have to admit, I've scrounged around a few times myself. I don't have the luck that those guys do, but I don't have the time to dig and am always in my slacks and dress shirts for work too.
if I meniton needing something, for example a refrigerator for my camper..... they are like.... I seen there are two RV's sitting over there, go look, they might have one you can use and could pick it up for $5.......
