Good Lord I'm glad I own a Ford!
What keeps me from selling this expensive a$$ truck and buying something more conservative?!
Any help is appreciated! |
uhm, what.
|
It costs $800 to push this truck daily but I really enjoy driving it, do I need to reconsider or hang on for the ride?
 That's $800 a month. |
I must be missing something so excuse me for asking. Your driving/buying an '04 F150 and your payments are 8 bills per month. Are you on some type of accelerated payment plan at Honest Abe's Used Cars?
IMO this is the finest truck that I have ever owned. Even 4 years after I first took possession it still get compliments, drives like new, and never has let me down. 60K on the ticker, less than $19,000 when new, I wouldn't be willing to trade it off for any reason. Agreed there are newer models and newer gimmicks on the market such as Dodge's unlimited powertrain warranty, Toyota's 385 hp, and Nissan's untila-trak. None of those interest me. Like I said before. This truck does everything that I purchased it to do and has never failed me. ox |

Any help is appreciated! If it's out of your means and you don't need it, AND if you can sell it for what you owe or more, then I'd say sell it, get something with in your means of living that you can actually afford. Later, when you can afford it, then maybe buy another one and try it again. |

Put it in the auto trader and see what happens? You might be able to get a decent buck for it.
.....then you'll have lots of change to ride the short bus with me  |

My truck is like my guns. I'd rather have it, and not need it, rather than not have it when I needed it. For me, I think of my truck as a self defense weapon. People see and hear me. I believe that it has helped avoid accidents. Because both of them are 4x4's, I have avoided a couple instances of being stranded during ice storms that left thousands to spend the night in their cars on an interstate hwy. Hope this was viewed as support. But then again I wish others didnt have a truck. I would hate to get hit by one of those beasts.
