As some of you are aware, I had foot surgery a couple of weeks ago. I had a tumor from an injury I sustained about 10 years ago. I thought it was a simple callus on my foot from wearing combat boots while I was in the Corps, but I was obviously wrong.

I had traumatic neuroma. [see this link] It is benign, thank goodness, but it was getting to the point wear I couldn't walk on it....so, I went to see a doctor.

He looked at it and said, "it needs to come out...and REAL soon." So, he cut me up a little bit.

For those "sick" individuals, like myself, I have pictures of the surgery.

That's fugggin nasty. Just be glad it was in your foot and you weren't getting that taken out of somewhere else! I've heard of the places the corps visit while overseas.
