Daddy's Girl

This is my youngest daughter Sophie. She is 15.
If you asked her to list her hero's, she would mention Foose, Mike Lavalle and she wears a Von Dutch T-shirt not because it's fashion but because she knows who he was.
For the last 2 weeks, she has been on work experience from high school. All the kids get placed with an employer to give them a little taster before they think about choosing a career.
All her friends are placed as things like kindergarden assistants or working in nail salons.
Sophie got me to get her a place in a friends custom race & paint shop.
She is very artistic (as well as academic) and even though the school thought it an unusual choice, she has been doing great and loving the work.
I suppose the only bad thing I can say about her is that she wants a 68 Charger
Anyway, here's the shop and a picture of the little Lotus Elan she's been flatting down ready for paint.

I see a custom paint job for the HD in my future

Cool!

But, um... What's wrong with her wanting a '68 Charger? I would be proud if I had a daughter that wanted a '68 Charger...

Good for her, doing what she wants to, not going with the crowd. That's great.

Not Ford ...

j/k, my guess is it's because those aren't easy to find or very cheap outside the US.
