I've been telling myself that one of these days I'm going to start entering my automobile maintenance "stuff" into a seperate form for each vehicle I own. Just as kind of an organized way to keep a record of my preventative and ongoing vehicle maintenance. Right now I just have a big manila folder with a bunch of receipts and notations in it -- it's so disorganized that it bugs me evertime I go into it!

I was just going to throw something together on my own that looked reasonably professional -- maybe something in Word or Excel (?). Then I'd have a seperate file of receipts that back-up the maintenance and repairs that are listed on the master sheet.

Does anyone on here do something similar with their maintenance log, and if so, did you create your own template, or was it a specially-written program of some kind that you picked up somewhere?

I just keep a very small notebook in each vehicle. I'll never remember to run in to the computer and log info.

I write down mileage, date, and what was done...
