Where's your computer

Where is your computer desk in your house. Mine is in our bedroom. I know some who have a separate room just for the computer and my mother in law has hers right in the living room.

Just wondering where your computer is.

Desktop1= Living room (wanting an office)
Laptop1 = Where ever it is needed
Laptop2 = Kids room
Desktop2= other kids room
Desktop3= dinning room waiting to go in kids2 room and replace desktop2 at which time desktop2 will probbaly end up in the attic and Desktop3 will become Desktop2.

When I build my house there will be a server/network closet as well as an entertainment closet and a partners office.

On most days it's right here on my workbench out in the garage, which also doubles as my home office whenever I can swing it:

My room or the den or the computer room...whatever you want to call it.

We have two laptops that are wireless to roam.

My kids won't have computers in their rooms. I don't want computer use to be private so we have one main computer. The computer room is high traffic. Right now my kids are young so it doesn't matter but it will when they are older.

I have concerns about this as well.

I have thier computers locked down tight, and maintain full parental control, but I know kids, it is only a matter of time till they hack me. Right now I dont think they are even trying. But with in a few year they likely will.
However We do not let them shut thier doors unless we have company and they are changing clothes. Monitors and TV's are both in view of the door way as we walk past.

At school, it's on my desk under my roommate's bed (lofted beds).
At home, the main desktop is right inbetween the kitchen and family room. Desktop 2 is in the basement on a desk. Don't even know if that computer works. Desktop 3 is in my brothers room. Desktop 4 (and 5??) are in the storage room.

Desktop #1 Oldest daughter's bedroom. This one serves as our proxy server

Desktop #2 Next daughters room

Desktop #3 Two oldest boys share in their room

Laptop #1 On my desk in my bedroom (mine)

Laptop #2 On a computer desk in the living room (wife)

Desktop #4 will be added next month so the two oldest boys don't have to share
anymore. The two younger boys will then be sharing.

Laptop next to the couch and desktops in the downstairs.

However, at the moment, all three are by the couch. Two desktops, two monitors and a laptop. All for full featured Nascar viewing
