Pro's -vs- Joe's
I hope I remember to set my DVR or VCR to catch that tomorrow night... Roy Jones Jr. is goign to be boxing some of those rookies.
Let me ask you guys something... We all have testosterone flowing through our veins... Would you have the "ballz" to get in the ring with Roy Jones Junior?
If you don't know who he is, here's a link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roy_Jones_Jr.
If you've never seen him fight, you missed it... He lost his edge on his last 3 fights, but before he stopped being hungry, the boy was unbeatable...
You might have seen him on the Matrix (Reloaded / Revolutions) too...

Yeah, if I wanted to get my *** handed to me, and like Jim said, for the right price.
Randy Couture was on it too...would any of you want to tangle with one of the best MMA fighters in the world?
That'd be a big *** "HELL NO" from me.
That show is addictive. I first started watching during the Season 1 review a couple Saturdays ago. Caught the first episode of Season 2 also.
My favorite was when they were trying to score on the ice against Lemieux. That was great. Not even counting the fact that the Colorado dude managed to score.....
Romanowski was also very entertaining.

You don't watch the UFC do you vader?
I know UC doesn't because it's a "man's" sport, so that rules him out.
Well, if money was involved, I'd get in the ring with him; but it would have to be serius money... Not that little BS $20,000.00 or whatever it is the "winner" gets on P vs J.
Might have to add at least two more zero's to that, and I mean on the left side of the decimal point too, then I'd let him kick my butt too. Randy Coture too, just no face hits/kicks. I want all my teeth when I go buy my new house, and then head to the BMW dealership with my $1,200,000.00 after taxes.

I would probably get in the ring with RJJ. As long as he doesn't broked my nose. I have boxed a couple times and the worst part of boxing is nose shots and about the week after. You can't hardly lift your arms and your side is so sore. Pros vs. Joes is getting more and more intense and physical with each season.
Yeah, I watched last night, and Claude Lemieux intentionally high-sticked one of the Joe's in his grill- after he (The Joe) had done something they deemed disrespectful to Tim Hardaway. Threw the ball at him or something...
On the first play, dude was one his hands & knees with blood dripping from his mouth...
On the commercial , RJJ looked like he tapped one of those guys pretty nicely. It's just that Roy was so fast in his prime... It wasn't that the guys he was fighting were substandard. They just looked substandard when boxing Roy.
He was so much better than EVERYONE else, (Not his fault) even though they were all professional... It would be like me getting in the ring with Holyfield. We'd both be heavyweight fighters, but, one of us would be a punching bag, while the other would be the aggressor.
The thing about heavyweights though, good or bad- it only takes one punch...
As for RJ though- there's only one boxer I can think of, when both were on their "A" game, who had a prayer of whipping Roy's ****- and that was Bernard Hopkins. Wasn't he pretty much undefeated for 12-13 years, with an insane amount of successful title defenses.
I was just SO GLAD when he kicked Felix Trinidad's butt. Everybody was Tito this, Tito that...
Get up Tito! Get up!
