My wife is looking for a new Limited Explorer. The higher those prices go the lower the prices go for the Explorer.

Now of course once I get the thing I want the prices back down :D

Vader

I have a 2002 Explorer 4x4 and get between 20 and 22 miles per gallon, mostly highway (2 lane). I drive 44 miles round trip each day to work, bunch of driving around on the weekends. Filler up once a week. 4.0 V6 though.

It will be paid of next spring. I want a new Screw in the worst way. I figure by then Ford will have to pay me to take them off the lot (i wish).

That's the same way I feel about my future purchase of a Mustang GT....

Of course, once I get it, I'll want the price of oil to come back down so I can take it out and run it with no reservations....

I just put a Roush off-road exhaust on the wife's 06 SC STX. She keeps complaining that her mileage sucks, but I can hear her coming from 6 blocks over. Go figure:devil:

What a freaking joke. We need to tap into our own oil, right after we eliminate the treehuggers.

The screwed up thing about it is that we are experiencing a natural gas over stock. Natural gas is down to $5.43 per thousand and companies are actually having to shut in wells because all of the storage capacity is full. My local natural gas raper is National Fuel Gas. They actually want to add 22% to their customer's bills because gas usage is down due to people becoming more energy efficient with their homes and businesses.

They said that they can't continue to operate without increasing the cost to the customer. If that's the case, cut your costs, don't cut my dollars.

I hate NFG.

Man, I just checked crude prices. If things keep going like they are we'll bust $80 tomorrow.

The Middle East should be made a giant refinery. No people or religous blowing people up crap or anything, just .10 cents per gallon gas.

Amen to that.
