I have saw a few threads on here begining with "I'm bored" so I thought it might be fun to do this. I start off by naming a song and who it is by. Then the next person has to name a song with a word that is in the persons above them's song

EXAMPLE: When the stars go blue-Tim McGraw
Next posters response could be- When I get where I'm goin- Brad Paisley

Its a simple game and if everyone posts it should go forever. Just because I put two country songs on there doesn't mean that you can't put rap,rock,hip hop,etc.

Well I searched and I didn't find of any such thing as the music game. I'm sorry. I haven't been here but a few weeks so 4 months ago was long before I ever thought of joining...sorry.

Just out of curiousity, why was that thread closed?

I know that some people hated it, but man, it's great when this forum is as slow as it has been ever since.

Besides that, it was the only one that had a shot of eclipsing LT's "Bored" thread! (In fact, I think it was ahead before it was locked.)

 

I wasted many postings in that thread. I too wondered why it was chosen to be locked. There were other games going on at the time as well as that worthless LT thread you mentioned.

 

At the time the site was crawling on a regular basis. Steve locked the thread because (some assumptions made here) of its size and presumed negative effect on the server's performance.

I don't know if he ever found out if that was the cause.

 

Is that sort of like an assumption?
