Iran has enriched uranium: Doesn't give a damn about UN Resoultions

VIENNA, Austria - The International Atomic Energy Agency said Friday that Iran had enriched uranium and was in defiance of the U.N. Security Council. The finding that Iran was not in compliance, which was expected, was contained in a report drawn up by IAEA chief Mohamed ElBaradei.

It also reflected a standoff between Iran and agency inspectors pursuing questions about possible attempts by Tehran to make nuclear arms.

Britain followed with an announcement saying it will ask the Security Council to "increase the pressure on Iran."

"The Iranian nation won't give a damn about such useless resolutions," Ahmadinejad told thousands of people Friday in Khorramdareh in northwestern Iran.

"Today, they want to force us to give up our way through threats and sanctions but those who resort to language of coercion should know that nuclear energy is a national demand and by the grace of God, today Iran is a nuclear country," state-run television quoted him as saying.

In one of the few new developments in the IAEA's more than three-year investigation, the report concluded that Iran used undeclared plutonium in conducting small-scale separation experiments.

"The agency cannot exclude the possibility ... that the plutonium analyzed by the agency was derived from source(s) other than declared by Iran," the report said. Plutonium separation is one of the suspect "dual use" activities that could be used for a weapons program.

I'm all for them having it, in fact I would like the U.S. to give it to them. Now, just where should we park our ICBM delivery truck??

Man, I saw a special on the military channel about the world's nuclear powers. They showed film footage from a Russian Tu-95 of them exploding a 50 Megaton bomb over the northpole. I know that pissed Santa off. Chine blew up a big one, and as part of the training, their infantry ran (INTO) the area where the explosion had taken place, as part of their attack training. (WTF) With no protective suits or anything...

I'm sure all those guys are dead now, if they lasted a week after that exposure.

They showed extensive footage of our tests in the bikini islands and Johnston atol, not to mention New Mexico and gulp, southern Mississippi (who knew?). Man, some of the stuff we blew up was so big, it couldn't be dropped from a plane or carried on a missle (in the 1950's & 60's technology)...

Those were really scary times for anyone us to have nukes... If you see the movie 13 days, based on actual events, you'll see how periously close we all came to not being here...

Iraq also violated UN resolutions...


and the US continues to squabble about pulling out.


Think Iran will be any different?



There are also basic rules of engagement. You can't just drop nukes onsomeone because theyare doing something you dont like. We condemned al Queda for doing exactly that.

The southern Miss detonations were done in the salt cavarns, which scientists theorized (and were correct about, thank God) the salt would block the radiation. No radiation escaped. Those were actually the cleanest tests in our history.:thumbsup:

We have a multitude of excess tactical nuclear weapons layin around. Most people don't understand that tactical nukes are not the nuclear winter type weapons you see on tv. Tactical nukes are precise, and have little fallout. Sure, the area hit is F'd for quite some time, but its a way to nuke, win, and leave while solving the problem

which still takes us back to bombing a country that we are not at war with.


They are in violation of UN resolutions. It has nothing to do with the US directly.


If this is about terrorist harboring nations, then we should be prepared to attack ALL of them.


I'll tell you one thing, a war with Iran will drive oil to at least $100/barrel and gas to $5/gallon, minimum.

You must forget we foot like 40% of the UN's budget. Why the hell should we use our troops under their command when we're gonna end up footing the bill anyway? They are violating UN resolutions that we helped to create. They have had their fair share of warnings, and now they need some motivation to cease and desist or they just may cease to exist.

The good thing to note here is the fact that if we completely wiped out all the Middle East it would be no lose to the world economy. Well, unless sand sculptures are big money making products… :devil:


What has the Middle East ever produced beneficial to the world economy? Oil, but so what, they don’t produce it, they didn’t invent it, they didn’t create it, they simple drill some holes and pump it out.

Since oil resides deep underground nukes wouldn’t affect it. The oil wouldn’t be radioactive so if the whole place was leveled we could still drill for it. We could split up the Middle East three ways. One third for America, one third for Russia, and one third for Europe…

I've seen a lot of doumentaries on this subject; I've actually been to the Trinity test site; not by choice, but I've been.

I was there for three weeks in 1996; inhaling the still (lightly) radioactive dust...

I'm expecting my 3rd testicle to descend any day now...
