Seriously though, I lost a co-worker and friend on a dirtbike cause of no helmet, it was the old "just fire it up and see if that fixed it" routine, he went about 50yards, pulled a wheelie and went over, cracked his head open and he was a very experienced rider and it was something we all do. I only learned one thing that day, no ride is too short to not put my helmet on. Just thought I'd share that cause if it makes someone put it on just once and it saves their ***, then this post was worth it.

That's gotta hurt man....I had a buddy roll my dune buggy with me as a passenger last summer. Had my seat belt on but still shifted enough that my upper arm got smashed under the roll cage. I'm lucky I didn't smack my head on the roll cage since I wasn't wearing a helmet. I ended up with 17 staples in my arm where they had to install a plate in my arm after removing the crushed section and have a 6 inch long x 1/4 in wide scar that will probably never completely go away. Enuff about me....ride safe bud!!
