I can't figure out how to send a pm. I don't see how to turn it on in my cp.

Left hand side under private messages
Send New Message

 

These are all the options I have:

Control Panel
Settings & Options
Edit Signature
Edit Email & Password
Edit Profile
Edit Options
Subscribed Threads
Folders
Subscriptions

 

HUH, that's wierd
After "edit option" I have

Private Messages
Folders
Inbox
Sent Items
List Messages
Send New Message
Track Messages
Edit Folders

Then at the very bottom I also have
Miscellaneous
Event Reminders
Buddy / Ignore Lists

Yeah, I don't have those options. I guess the admin. hates me

 

make sure in the edit options screen you enable private messaging

 

This is all the options I have there:
Receive EmailFrom time to time, the administrators may want to send you email notices.

If you do not want to receive these notices, disable this option.
Receive Email from Administrators

You can allow other members to send you email messages.
Receive Email from Other Members

Default Thread Subscription ModeWhen you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads, with the option to receive email notification of new replies to that thread.
Do not subscribe No email notification Instant email notification Daily email notification Weekly email notification Default Thread Subscription Mode:

I am in the same boat that you are in Chester.

 

Yours doesn't work because you aren't a senior member. You have to have 100 posts to become one. I don't know why the heck mine doesn't work!

 

I get the same message when I try to send you one too. Chester put a thread up in the questions section add a post to his thread and Steve can help you both.

Never mind, I jus trealized that you dont have enough post. You must have atleast 100 post to use PM.
