Let's add some new tech articles

Howdy!

After reading,,, re-post after re-post... i've come up with a solution......

Why doesn't everyone write up a technical article on their project/repairwork/mods.. and take pictures so we can expand the tech article section, and provide better tools for others who wish to do the same projects.

articles on

polishing aluminium wheels
cleaning egr's (for each engine type, in order to stop "location" questions)
location of PCV and lines
Location and changing of DPFE
Brake jobs

basically anything you can think of

I think being able to see/read the "how-to" will not only help the "noobs" just joining to solve a problem, but also will help others decide whether of not we want to tackle jobs ourselves

what do y'all think?

just my .02

Email WEBMASTER about getting it added to the "tech articles" section,,, and the transmission forums..... i'm sure that would help a whole lot of people out.... Great List!

There are other forums that have a descent "how to" area.... There's no reason that with 4000 members, this site couldn't have a huge section that could answer tons of question, plus provide tips

Great idea. Its pretty basic, but I need to replace my front brakes and I can put up something on that if it hasnt been covered yet.

If you do create a how-to thread,,,, start the subject of the thread with HOW TO -______________ that way it's easier to search for (until we can get them moved over to the correct section)
