Who's your favorite Comedian?

Since 1992, Bernie Mac has been my favorite Comedian.
There are some funny one's out there; but I like Bernie's misdirection-style humor. He gets you leaning one way, and the joke comes from a differnent angle, catching you off guard.

Before Bernie, my favorite was George Carlin. But, with George Carlin & Dennis Miller- if you don't posses a vocabulary and you aren't up on today's events- you'll miss a lot of their humor.

I grew up sneaking around and listening to Richard Pryor & Eddie Murphy; I've watched Chris Rock grow into a stellar comedian as well...

But man, I saw this guy on HBO's One Night Stand named Bill Burr. I'd never heard of him before, but that SOB had me rolling...

Have you ever laughed so hard that your mouth was wide open- but no sound was coming out, tears were streaming down your face, you couldn't really breathe and your stomach felt like it was gonna cramp if you kept laughing?

That's what I'm talking about...

If you want a good laugh, and you have Comcast's Digital Cable On Demand Cable service (Channel 1); go to Premium channels, HBO, Specials, Comedy, then choose ONS #60, or #59, I forget.

It's 30-minutes well spent... The first 3-5 are kinda slow, but the rest.... You won't regret it.

I've always been a big fan of George Carlin, I think he is hilarious. I also like a guy named Bob Marley. He's not well known but, he's from my homestate of Maine and I think he is "wicked" funny. :rocker:

While I appreciate the intellectual humor of a guy like Dennis Miller, the guys that always end up having me rolling on the floor are the dry, dead-pan guys:

New School: Steven Wright

Old School (and WAY before my time): Pat Paulson
