An almost 7 year old thread... nice. I think that's a new record?

Wish some of the guys from this thread were still around here.

What I find disturbing (besides the age of this thread) is the fact that people continue, to this day, try to police other people by "banning things" instead of taking responsibility for their own being.

I mean, come on! If you find it disturbing, turn around, don’t watch it, TEACH your child that the program is inappropriate, and move on with your little life and remain as calm as possible. Maybe there are some folks that enjoy that sick cartoon. If we ban everything because it "offends" someone, we will all live like New Yorkers where one can’t even enjoy a soft drink larger than 16oz.

Interesting. I never knew that's where my mom's house was. What part of Arkansas?

Right On!!! This was one of the most annoying things about living in Cali. While I miss some of the consumer protection laws, in the end, they are all a steaming pile...

And for the record, I do watch Adult Swim. Have for a long time now. Would I let my kids (if I had any) watch it, hell no! I don't want someone else telling me how to raise my kids!!

-edit-
For some reason this made me think about this. I remember when Beattlejuice first came out. This was not a kids movie. Now it comes on as kids/family friendly movie...
